Why do I emphasize the quality of photos? It’s not just because I’m a photographer myself. When I look at my own childhood photos taken in the 1980s, the image quality was poor because digital cameras didn’t exist back then. Moreover, photos taken by amateurs (like my parents) often had blur and other flaws. While they captured the cuteness of the children, I hesitate to use them as decorations. However, even during that time, I have a few photos taken by professionals in a studio for special occasions. I can’t show you the photos since they are in Japan, but here is a typical photos taken with a regular camera in the 1980s.
After 10 or 20 years, when you look back, high-quality photos that evoke the soft skin and even the scent of your child at that time will be precious mementos.
