Smoked Salmon Pasta

Two Ingredients, One Spectacular Flavor: The Magic of Smoked Salmon Pasta!

Do I love smoked salmon? Absolutely! Smoked salmon is incredibly versatile and delicious in a variety of ways. Whether enjoyed on its own, tossed in a salad, paired with a glass of wine, combined with cheese, or simply placed atop a slice of crusty French bread, it never fails to delight the taste buds.

One of my favorite cooking habits is improvising a meal with whatever ingredients I have on hand when I’m short on time and haven’t decided what to make. While working from home, I often opt for quick and easy pasta dishes tailored to my personal tastes. However, one day, I discovered a stash of my beloved smoked salmon in the fridge. I decided to experiment and create a pasta recipe using the salmon, and to my surprise, it turned out to be not only exceptionally easy but also incredibly delicious.

Let me share that delightful recipe with you!

Instructions:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. Cook the pasta in the boiling water.

  2. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the smoked salmon sauce. In a heated frying pan, add olive oil and sauté the sliced garlic. Then, quickly sauté the smoked salmon. Add white wine, salt, and some of the pasta cooking water. Mix well and turn off the heat.

  3. If desired, you can add freshness to the dish by optionally including sliced lemon. Squeezing lemon over the pasta just before serving can enhance the flavors.

  4. Plate the pasta, pour the sauce over it, and if using, add a squeeze of lemon for that extra burst of freshness. It’s ready to enjoy!
