Transform Your Walls with Unforgettable Beautiful Moments!
Is it a waste or an investment to spend money on professional photography for capturing precious moments of your children? Do you decorate your home with family photos, considering the convenience of taking pictures with smartphones these days?
So why would you still opt for professional photographers to capture family portraits, children’s photos, or newborn baby pictures? The answer lies in the significant difference in photo quality.
Let’s take a look at two pictures: one taken with an iPhone and the other with a Canon 5D. Most people would prefer the one taken with the Canon camera. The difference is striking. Even for a simple photo of flowers, the Canon image appears more dramatic.

The same principle applies to your family photos displayed on the wall.
While smartphone cameras have become impressive, knowing photography techniques can help you capture DSLR-like shots. Professional photographers excel in composition, lighting, and photo editing.
Of course, not everyone can afford professional photographers. In that case, I highly recommend investing in a DSLR camera. They used to be more expensive, but now they are more affordable. Even cheaper DSLR cameras offer quality that surpasses regular smartphone photography. Now you may be thinking, ‘I don’t know how to use DSLR cameras!’ Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! In my next blog post, I’ll guide you through simple and easy ways to use a DSLR camera. So, stay tuned and join me on this exciting journey!
When you decorate your walls with family photos, the difference between nice, well-captured photos and simple snapshots from a phone becomes evident. Let me show you some examples to illustrate this.
Why do I emphasize the quality of photos? It’s not just because I’m a photographer myself. When I look at my own childhood photos taken in the 1980s, the image quality was poor because digital cameras didn’t exist back then. Moreover, photos taken by amateurs (like my parents) often had blur and other flaws. While they captured the cuteness of the children, I hesitate to use them as decorations. However, even during that time, I have a few photos taken by professionals in a studio for special occasions. I can’t show you the photos since they are in Japan, but here is a typical photos taken with a regular camera in the 1980s.
After 10 or 20 years, when you look back, high-quality photos that evoke the soft skin and even the scent of your child at that time will be precious mementos.

Everyday photos taken with a smartphone can also become lovely memories. However, I also recommend preserving the highest-quality, best photos. Because those moments can’t be
recreated once they are gone. The tiny hands and feet, round faces, and chubby bodies that are irresistibly adorable. I suggest capturing the maximum cuteness in the best photos possible.
Nowadays, with everyone storing their photos on smartphones, the traditional practice of printing and arranging them in albums has faded. However, there is a certain charm in having a tangible album that allows you to flip through its pages, reliving cherished memories and even select photos to frame and proudly display on your walls.
